On August 29, Chinese Consul General in Penang Zhou Youbin attended the 90th Anniversary Celebration of Nan Hwa High School in Manjung. Also present at the event were Mr. Ngan Teng Ye, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Nan Hwa High School, Professor Dr. Choong Chee Keong, Vice President of Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR), Mr. Li Shiming, President of Suzhou Centennial Vocational College, and Dr. Ye Nan, Chinese Director of the Shen Jai Confucius Institute.

Consul General Zhou noted the school's contributions to Chinese culture and education, while welcoming more Malaysian students to study in China.
