On July 25, Vice Consul General Ding Qiao attended the third Malaysia-China International Student Exchange on the movie "Dear You". Also present were more than 40 people, including Dr. Tan Hwang Ee, President of the Association of Graduates from Universities and Colleges of China, Pulau Pinang; Lim Kah Hoe, Executive Director and Curator of the Malaysian Chinese Museum; Ng Jooi Seah, Principal of Chung Ling Private High School; Tan Boon Hock, Deputy Director of the Penang Philomathic Union - Sun Yat-Sen Centre Penang; and international students from both China and Malaysia.

Ding said, people-to-people exchanges are the most vibrant and heartwarming bond in China-Malaysia relations. Students from both countries are the most dynamic force on this bond. She hoped that the students would act as "youth ambassadors" in carrying forward the friendship between China and Malaysia, sharing their experiences and observations from their studies with more people in a youthful way, and contribute to exchanges and cooperation between China and Malaysia in various fields.

The event, organized by the Association of Graduates from Universities and Colleges of China, Pulau Pinang, included visits to historical sites, a lecture on Qiaopi (overseas Chinese remittance letters), and exchange discussions, providing students with a deeper understanding of the history of Chinese migration to Southeast Asia.
